Job Purpose / Scope:
- To lead the Finance Team providing the full range of financial support, reporting and services to support the efficient and effective running of the organisation and the delivery of its work.
- Responsible for the maintenance of accurate financial records, budgeting, cost control, cash flow, monthly reporting across the organisation.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide insights to optimize financial results.
- Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting and ensuring adequate liquidity for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
- Prepare financial data and documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Any other ad-hoc task shall be assigned by the superior from time-to-time.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance / Accounting / ACCA or equivalent.
- Min 10 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in oil & gas or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with other departments and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced spreadsheet applications.
